HISTORY • INTEGRITY (2010) At the beginning of 2008 Jimi hired his son for part time help in finishing the album The Speed Of Life and by 2009 his son Elliot began running Jimi's label String Theory Digital Disc. In 2009 they also began a new album together "INTEGRITY" , building all new custom gear including guitar amplifiers, microphones, effects, and many other studio modifications to enhance Jimi's sound. The goal was to create a new sound that was unique, pleasing and could not be replicated easily. Harsh economic realities of 2009 required innovative solutions to keep the production on schedule, in the end, the album was completed in just over a year. During the production of INTEGRITY, the decision was made to move the studio to a more audio friendly environment. A location in North Eastern Minnesota provided an almost perfect environment for the studio, so in February 2010, the studio was moved. The location provided nice living accomodations directly attached to the recording facilities, expediting all aspects of the production process.
