"I first met Bonnie through the T.C. Jammers and Steve Raitt.  Bonnie hung out with the Jammers when she was in town and would sit in with the band occasionally.  The Jammers were one of the funk band giants in the Minneapolis/St. Paul music scene during the 80’s and provided a favorite gathering place for musicians. 

Steve heard my song “Absolute Faith” and sent it straight off to Bonnie so she could hear it.  She called me at home and said, “I love your music, and your voice.  I’m stoked about your music”. 

In 1985 I was asked to perform with Bonnie at the Carlton Celebrity Theater just before recording her “Nick of Time” LP.  Her band consisted of Minneapolis musicians, including Pat Hayes, Willie Murphy and others.  I have nothing but love and respect for Bonnie."
